LinkedIn recommendations I received from my time at Federal Reserve Information Technology:

It is my pleasure to recommend Ed Foster as project manager. I had the opportunity to work with Ed as the PM leading the oversight of an IT services implementation for a client while working at Summit. Ed successfully led this integration effort delivering the initiative on time while having to address and overcome many obstacles.
Ed is highly respected by his colleagues and skillfully managed the many complexities with the IT services implementation of a major 3rd party sourcing provider. As the lead PM, Ed brought a great deal of enthusiasm and an appropriate level of structure that allowed him to form the appropriate relationships and deliver the right outcomes for both Summit and its client/customer.
Despite the aggressive timelines and schedules, Ed was able to overcome obstacles and challenges as he delivered the overall project management oversight framework for his customer in addition to the development of a detailed risk and contingency plan. Ed has superb problem-solving skills as well as exceptional team-building skills.
Ed possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and consistently demonstrated an uncanny ability to foresee a potential problems and preventing unexpected hurdles as serving as the lead project manager for this effort.

Ed worked with Summit as a seasoned Project Manager on a client engagement requiring PM expertise across a very large client program in an IV&V style role. Ed provided a significant amount of PM experience into the engagement team. He specifically was able to apply industry best practices to the management of the program schedule (i.e., research-based metrics to assess the health of the schedule) which enabled program leadership to identify and target individual scheduling challenges in a multi-track, highly integrated and complex program. This contribution was critical to Summit’s success on the engagement. Coupled with Ed’s unflappable demeanor (in a demanding environment) and steady work ethic, it was a pleasure to have worked side by side with him.Marvin Taylor.
