Graphics Used to Track Detailed Systems Design Progress

I prepared the below progress graphs, without any direction from my management, for use in the weekly joint status meetings between the State and vendor management teams to illustrate the progress made toward development of the Detailed System Design (DSD) document. The first shows overall completion of the DSD components measured against the total number of components and adds a trend line suggesting the final completion date. At the time of this graph, the vendor was still projecting a late July completion. The second shows completion of DSD components measured against the total number of components for one of the subsystems. This allowed us to judge how well development work was progressing on a subsystem-by-subsystem basis. The final one shows completion of project activities (required for completion of the DSD components) measured against the total number of activities for one of the subsystems. This was an alternative means for us to judge how well development work was progressing on a subsystem-by-subsystem basis.
